About the Fantasea Luxury Cruiser
The clipper 34 is a proven design pleasure and bare boat. The design has remained unchanged for the past 30 years and is still being produced for the mid range luxury boat market. Being a classic trawler hull, of 15 tonnes weight and with a large full length keel, it has proven sea worthiness even in the roughest conditions.

"Fantasea" is powered by the proven 120hp Ford Lehman diesel which is extremely economical using only 6 litres per hour when cruising at 6 to 7 knots.
The keel and shaft drive combination gives incredible in line stability, yet due to it length is still quite manoevrable. The helm of the clipper is easy to operate and is user friendly. A single lever controls the throttle and direction of the cruiser and as previously mentioned is very directionally stable when cruising requiring very little helm correction.
The boat features full walk around decks with high side rails normally only found on boats of much larger size. The deck provides great access to fishing and sight seeing and allows you the freedom to safely wander around when cruising, not stuck inside a cabin or on a flybridge(weather permitting of course). It has both side and rear access to the inside and access to the flybridge is by 2 short flights of low angle stairs of standard height. Ideal for elderly people access. The flybridge is enormously spacious and facilitates 360 degree unobstructed views. The large bimini cover gives good shade yet still provides plenty of sitting or laying area in the sun. The clipper 34 has both a top flybridge and a central cabin driving helms so can cater for cruising around in all sorts of weather.
The interior features full height ceilings in the main saloon area and in the two private cabins. The cabins are good size offering standing room beside the beds for easy access and 150mm foam mattresses for a great nights sleep. Both cabins have full privacy doors, separate on suite, wardrobes, drawers, reading lights and opening windows/ports. The front cabin has 2 single V berths which convert to a full double V berth. The rear cabin has 2 smaller doubles. The centre cabin has saloon seating around a folding dining table together with additional seating opposite. The dining table may be lowered and converted into another double bed for those with snoring partners or extra guests. The main cabin has plenty of lighting, seating and full size opening windows. It is also fitted with a 240v Inverter for charging phones, playstations, laptops etc.
The exterior also has deck lights for using the flybridge on those balmy nights. For the adventurous, there are additional mattresses on the flybridge for those who like to sleep "under the stars". The boat interior/exterior is finished in easy clean full fibreglass with polished teak trim
Don't forget to bring your favourite fishing gear as fishing in the Whitsundays is unbelievable. Our guest "Steve" wasn't dissapointed. There are some hand lines on the boat, but bring your own tackle.
The boat is equipped with a swim platform, access ladder and inflatable ducky with a reliable 6 hp 2 stroke engine. The entertainment on the boat includes stereo CD, TV, DVD and video. It also has some children's games, navigation charts, fishing and information books including the 100 magic miles which is considered the bible of the Whitsundays. The kitchen features a 4 burner gas stove, griller and oven. It has a huge 200L fridge/freezer. Combined with the 900L of water and 400L of fuel there shouldn't be any need to call into port if you don't want to.
''Fantasea'' is a truly great experience offering a touch of traditional charm and comfortable cruising with a feel of skippering a much larger boat. This is why the Clipper 34 is considered one of the most popular bare boats ever built.
